Storefronts 0

Cleveland shopping malls couldn’t be awkward enough, and then they had to add weird storefronts. The train at the bottom right with the jacked up eye looks like it’s about to have a panic attack and burst into tears any moment. No clue what Santa was doing but his elf has a glandular problem that’s making his eyes bulge out of it’s skull. The Maxwell show on WMMS 100.7 was canceled yesterday, that station is officially getting taken off of programmed button number 6 on my radio.

Sybris 0

The first week of October I had a chance to see Brand New at the Time Warner Amphitheatre. The opening bands were The Manchester Orchestra and Sybris, both were amazing. I’m a fan of The manchester Orchestra and have mentioned them in previous posts, but Sybris was new. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, they had a unique sound that threw me off. A few minutes into their set I was hooked. I picked up both of their albums “Sybris” (self titled) and “Into the Trees” and from start to finish every track was good. If you havn’t had a chance to hear them, or have never heard of them, do a quick search through youtube and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
