Restoring Linux Desktop 0
Linux is a solid OS, and it has endless possibilites as far as customizing the appearance of your desktop. One possiblilty is botching your desktop making it practically useless or incredibly slow. Linux Journal had an article on how to wipe out all customizations and I opted to steal and share the command. Enjoy.
rm -rf .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity
